Q4 Planning Tips

As we head into the fourth quarter of the year, it’s a great time to reflect on your ideal life design and how your business is (or isn’t) acting as a vehicle to help you get there.

Here are some thought prompts to consider:

  • What was/were my goals for the year?

  • Have any changed? Why?

  • Are there any that I’d like to eliminate? Why?

  • How am I tracking toward each?

  • Which have I achieved? Have I adequately celebrated that/those?

  • Which are still works in progress?

  • How do I want to prioritize those that remain?

  • What specific, bite-sized steps can I take to move towards the highest-priority goal?

  • Who should be doing those steps (me, technology, someone else)?

  • Can I put these steps into my calendar to create dedicated time to work toward them?

  • Once one goal has been laid out, move on to the next on your list.

  • Is there anything I’d like to do to maintain or grow the ones that I’ve completed?

  • What do I want to be able to say when the year closes out?

  • Does this plan help me move towards the likelihood of saying and feeling that?

  • How do I want to feel as I work towards these goals?

  • Anything else I want to consider if I’m being really honest with myself?

Here’s to a great gift, Darrah
