‘what if i change my mind?’
much of the work i do with coaching clients starts from a foundation of designing the life they want (and then reverse-engineering their work to support that and create the time and financial freedom they need to live it).
when doing so, we also agree that they have permission to change their mind along the way.
few things in life are fixed. and it can feel overwhelming to 'decide' and feel like you've laid your claim to something and that's the end of the discussion. that's unrealistic and not a great idea.
i've realized this for myself more than ever in my own life with a now almost 6-month-old daughter. if you listened to this episode of my podcast, you'll recall that having a child wasn't in my life design.
yet, as i changed and grew, and as my circumstances changed, i decided that it was something i wanted to pursue.
doing so has opened up so much for and within me. new and deeper levels of energy, love, capacity, joy, and more.
if i had stuck to an old version of my identity or to what i said i wanted at an earlier date, i would have missed this.
that's integral to this work: being open to surprises, evolution, and to seeing ourselves differently.
i’m curious: how might you be willing to evolve your past thinking to better suit you today and in the future?
