you’re not too busy. it’s just not a priority.

what’s something you’ve said you were going to do for the longest time, but haven’t?

perhaps you haven’t because you:

  • don’t actually want to (a signal to scratch it from the list or outsource it).

  • do want to, but it’s lower on your priority list, so you need to reallocate time to make space for it, or actively decide to keep it lower on your list for now.

  • you’re scared to do it, so you’re giving yourself a convenient out by telling yourself you’re too busy.

those who seem to get so much done and ‘do it all’ are just really good at prioritizing, moving through discomfort, and getting things off their plate by systemizing, delegating, and outsourcing.

 

that’s really it. they don’t have a superpower you’re missing.


and that’s a relief because it means you have the same capacity and ability, too.
