move, eat, hydrate, sleep, repeat
let’s go back to the basics (because we often overlook them, thinking other things are more important because their urgency is more obvious).
when i work with entrepreneurs and executives, at one point or another, the conversation turns to these questions:
do you get adequate sleep? what's the quality of your sleep?
how much water are you drinking throughout the day?
of what does your diet consist?
what's your energy like throughout the day?
what type(s) of fitness and movement do you incorporate and when?
how well are you managing stress?
how aware are you of yourself throughout the day (your thoughts, energy, breathing, body, feelings, etc)?
i invite you to pause and actually answer these questions.
think of yourself like a high-performance athlete (whose sport is your work). part of your job is to be at your highest potential for peak performance. this is where you start.
choose one thing from this list that you could improve.
commit to an action that you can manageably do for the next week.
when you see my email next tuesday, use that as a reminder to check-in on your
progress and make your next goal (to continue, add on, etc).
